After nine months of extensive renovations, Anantara Veli Maldives Resort will reopen on December 1st, just in time for the Christmas season. Revealing a new-look accommodation

Indulge in some well-deserved Wellness Villa experience

The relaunch of Anantara Veli comes with a new wellness concept that allows you to book a personalized Wellness Villa experience. 

You’ll feel spoiled as soon as you arrive when you see that your villa is being enhanced with light, sound and scent therapy that changes the ambiance from day to night. The villa also has Ayurvedic spa amenities, an earthing mat for meditation, and a wellness minibar with herbal teas, healthy shakes, and wholefood snacks.

All stays in a Wellness Villa include a wellness consultation upon arrival, daily fitness or yoga, a healthy cooking class, and 20% savings on treatments at Balance Wellness by Anantara. 

The spa, Balance Wellness by Anantara, is an oasis of healing at the heart of the island. The range of wellness treatments available goes from Ayurvedic therapies to the latest in epigenetics and IV therapy.A brand new hammam has also been built at the facility. Multi-day wellness retreats are personalized in consultation with the resident naturopath and nutritionist, personal trainer and yoga and lifestyle coach. 

Balance Wellness by Anantara, the island’s only spa, is an oasis of healing in the center of the island. Dining like no other

When it comes time to dine, you’ll have your choice of two exquisite restaurants and a bar.

A new restaurant, Cumin, showcasing authentic Indian Ocean cuisine joins the fully renovated contemporary Japanese restaurant, Origami, and the oceanfront Dhoni Bar. 

A relaxed, sand-underfoot restaurant, Cumin will feature Maldivian curries, the spicy seafood of Sri Lanka as well as vegetarian specialties from India.

All of the island’s restaurants will serve vegetables that have been grown in the new on-site hydroponic farm, the Maldives’ first vertical farm with organic, year-round harvests. Lettuce, tomato, microgreens, herbs, and capsicum are among the veggies available.
