Singapore Fitness Alliance launched to strengthen SG’s fitness industry

The threats of COVID-19 have highlighted the huge importance of keeping ourselves healthy. As we all face the reality that the virus is not going to go away any time soon, the demand for fitness services and products is growing exponentially and will continue to do so.

This inspired the 50 Founding Member companies to form Singapore Fitness Alliance (SFA) which officially launched today in Singapore. The SFA is a non-profit industry association that represents Singapore’s fitness and wellness industry. It champions the incredible value it offers to the culture, community, health and wellbeing of Singapore.

The member companies include Singapore’s largest and most influential clubs, gyms, studios, suppliers, advisors and solution providers. They work along with the Singapore Government to help connect, strengthen and grow this important market within the wider health ecosystem.

Among the member companies of SG Fitness Alliance are Anytime Fitness, Breathe Pilates, Class Pass, F1 Recreation, FIT Summit, Fitness First, Singapore Trampoline Academy, True Group, Ultimate Performance, and Yoga Movement.

“Singapore’s fitness industry has delivered huge health benefits to Singapore, well before and throughout the current COVID pandemic,” said Sean Tan, Director of True Group and the SFA’s Inaugural President.

We are excited about how our industry can work together, to collaborate further, and to ensure more people become healthier and happier, whilst improving their overall health, immunity and wellbeing.
