Samsen Sheung Wan opens its doors in Hong Kong

Are you a fan of traditional Thai street food? You will be thrilled to know that Samsen restaurant is officially opening its second location in Hong Kong’s foodie neighborhood in Sheung Wan. The outlet will open after Chinese New Year.

Following the success of the critically acclaimed Samsen Wan Chai, which opened in 2016, chef-owner Adam Cliff and partner Bella Kong’s new establishment is a continuation of their passion for exploring the bold flavors of traditional Thai street eats.

While Samsen Wan Chai is known as Hong Kong’s home for Thai boat noodles, Samsen Sheung Wan is offering a new experience to diners. The new Samsen outlet features Khao Soi (curried beef with fresh egg noodles) as the star dish alongside freshly made roti, best enjoyed when dipped in a bowl of steaming Thai curry.

Loyal Samsen followers can also enjoy crowd favorites alongside these exclusive new dishes and an expanded bar program.

Continuing to excite the Hong Kong dining scene with honest, traditional cooking and bold Thai flavors, Cliff and Kong serve dishes that pack a punch. The authentic Thai street food shophouse is a celebration of nostalgic vintage Thailand and serves as a perfect dining hangout and watering hole in the Sheung Wan neighborhood.

Samsen Sheung Wan is open for dinner from 6:30PM to 11:00PM, Tuesday to Sunday. The restaurant will announce lunch operations later.
