A perfect seaside weekend escape
A former French colonial town, Vung Tau is a popular seaside escape nestled on a peninsula. Besides its long beaches, the city is home to the former mansion of Indochina’s French governor and the Vung Tau Lighthouse atop Small Mountain.
“The opening of Mercure Vung Tau Resort is very special because the hotel boasts a fantastic location right on the seafront with a stunning landscape. It is only a short drive from Ho Chi Minh City, making it the perfect seaside weekend escape for residents and tourists to the popular southern city,” said Anthony Quin, General Manager of Mercure Vung Tau Resort.
The hotel is located at 03 Ha Long Street, Vung Tau City, Ba Ria Vung Tau Province in Vietnam. It is about 96 km from Tan Son Nhat, Ho Chi Minh International Airport.
