Dusit brings delightful holidays to Davao

dusitD2 Davao and Dusit Thani Residence Davao marked the beginning of the festive season with its grand and elegant Christmas tree lighting ceremony, themed “Season of Giving: Holidays at Dusit Davao.”

The centerpiece of the event was the huge Christmas tree created by Filipino premier event designer, Jerry Sibal. Situated right in the middle of the hotel lobby, the attention-grabbing tree features one-of-a-kind and creative elements inspired by the indigenous woven fabrics of various Mindanao tribes.

“When we first met with Jerry, we asked him to highlight the unique elements of the region because we want to take advantage of Mindanao’s strengths and highlight what makes it special. We are very happy that Jerry was able to put our vision to life,” explained Christopher Wichlan, General Manager of dusitD2 Davao, Dusit Thani Residence Davao and Dusit Thani Lubi Plantation Resort. “This year is the first Christmas for our properties and we wanted to make sure it’s nothing less than extraordinary.”

Attendees of the lighting ceremony were also entertained by local musical artists including Tunog, a children’s rondalla from Compostela Valley, Koro Aguinaldo, and Who Is Nash?, one of the bands who plays at dusitD2 Davao’s Siam Lounge regularly.

Festive season delights in Dusit Davao

Apart from the Christmas Tree, dusitD2 Davao and Dusit Thani Residence Davao offer holiday deals that make celebrations more memorable. The Dusit Delightful Holidays promo has rates starting at PHP 9,000 nett per night while the Festive Season Delights at Dusit promo starts at Php 16,500 nett per night.
