Hilton Maldives Amingiri Resort & Spa: A luxurious new oasis in the Maldives

The Maldives is one of the world’s most popular vacation destinations, and bookings have been steadily rising since it opened its doors to international visitors during the pandemic. It’s no surprise that Hilton’s flagship brand expands into the Maldives with the recent opening of Hilton Maldives Amingiri Resort & Spa. This new luxury resort in the Maldives offers guests a variety of modern amenities that are unique to the islands, setting a new benchmark in hospitality for future travelers to experience.

Hilton Maldives Amingiri is located on the beautiful Amingiri Island in the North Male Atoll. It is accessible from Velana International Airport via a picturesque 20-minute premium speedboat ride.

The resort has 109 beach and overwater villas, each with a private pool and spectacular views of the lagoon. The villas, which mix traditional Maldivian features with modern touches, provide plenty of natural light through floor-to-ceiling windows and brighten up the room with their soothing color scheme that reflects the warm hues of the sea and sky.

The overwater pool villas promise guests a chance to get lost in nature’s wonders, with steps leading right to the lagoon and a hammock by the pool to enjoy the sound of waves. Beachside villas include direct access to dazzling white sand, a deck swing, and a gazebo on the beach.

The bathrooms are generously proportioned in all villas, with ocean-facing bathtubs and indoor and outdoor rain showers that provide a sense of relaxation.

Innovative offerings at the new luxury resort in the Maldives

The six-bedroom Amingiri Residence is a noteworthy feature of Hilton Maldives Amingiri, providing privacy for larger groups of travelers seeking peace and tranquility.

The residence will be located on a landscaped cove and have its own arrival pier. Guests will be able to enjoy 360-degree views of the Maldivian horizon from the dedicated sundeck when it opens in November 2022.

Alexandra Jaritz, Hilton’s senior vice president for brand management in Asia Pacific shared that Hilton Maldives Amingiri represents what the group continually strives for in its brand portfolio—innovative offerings and exceptional stays complemented by Hilton’s signature hospitality.

“Introducing several new concepts to the Maldives—such as a rooftop lounge exclusive to teenage guests, a cocktail lab and the six-bedroom residence—Hilton Maldives Amingiri is set to capture guests of all ages looking to reconnect during their stay with their selves, nature or close ones,” she added.
